It had been raining hard all day and I watched as the rain drops slowly ran down the window of my room, not a great inspiration for getting the camera out. Towards evening the rain began to ease and the sun revealed itself from behind leaden clouds.
With the ground wet and nightfall approaching it was a great opportunity for street photography and what better place than Oxford with its cobbled streets. I could see reflected light from college windows on wet cobbles and silhouetted figures as the challenge.
I spent the evening just wandering around with my camera ISO@ 3200 and 50mm lens. I don’t mind the grainy images for this sort of photography as I feel it adds to the mood of the picture.
